INDOOR FOSTERING

High Wycombe and South Bucks branch of Cats Protection are currently looking for volunteers to become Indoor Fosterers.  High Wycombe is looking for volunteers who have a spare room in their house that they are willing to use for fostering. 

It is essential that you have a spare room to make sure your own cats and Cats Protection cats are kept separate at all times.  It is also important to bear in mind that your own cats will need to be fully vaccinated and all vaccinations kept up to date.

The spare room must have adequate access to daylight and good ventilation.  The room will need to be made safe and secure.  It is important that the room is easy to clean to help maintain good hygiene.  Soft furnishings should be kept to a minimum and it is recommended that carpet is not used due to it being impossible to thoroughly clean and disinfect between cats.

Please be aware that members of the public will need access to view the cats and kittens in your care.
